UPDATE: THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED.
ALERT: BOIL WATER ADVISORY:
Sunday, January 19, 2025.. There will be a 72 hour Boil Water Advisory for St. Jude subdivision. From the Missouri Department of Natural Resources: What is a boil water advisory? A public water system may issue a boil water advisory when there is concern that a problem with drinking water may exist, but it has not yet been confirmed. These are most commonly issued for major water main breaks or other low-pressure events where the possibility of contamination intrusion exists. They may also be issued while waiting for the results of confirmation samples collected for bacteriological analysis, which can take up to two days plus the time required to transport samples to the laboratory.

After 4 months of working with Apptegy, the new City of Ste. Genevieve website is launching Monday morning. Ste. Genevieve.gov will have a more modern look to greet users that we hope is easier for the community to navigate and find the information and forms you need. In addition, a new app is launching, and you can connect through our new website and download on to your phone or tablet. We are also working on more online forms to fill out so you will see changes even after our website and app is launched.
We hope you will check it out and give us your feedback so we can make improvements that help everyone.

With the extreme weather temperatures coming this week take some precautionary steps to keep your pipes from freezing. Let the cold-water drip from the faucet served by exposed pipes. Running water through the pipe - even at a trickle - helps prevent pipes from freezing. You can find more information from the Red Cross at: https://www.redcross.org/.../winter-storm/frozen-pipes.html
